Daddy reading a bilingual bed time story the night before.
6-6:30am- Mr E wakes up. Daddy wakes up with him and gives him breakfast (usually otameal with blueberries and milk)

7-7:30- Miss E wakes up. She immediately changes into her "princess" dress, which is a golden dress my mom bought for her a Christmas or two ago. I try to wake up with her, but in all honesty, most days I wake up around 8.
When I wake up, Daddy usually gives me coffee in an effort to get his zombie wife back to life. Yes, I am a zombie at 8am. Don't judge. :3
He puts chocolate chips in it to make it into a mocha. I know, I'm spoiled.
Then around 8:45am Mr E tried to fit his bum in this box.
Miss E had been having a tea party.
Why does she make a villain face every time I try to take a picture? Can you see Mr E looking at the box? LOL
Around 10am I decided we should all try to be decent and take a shower/bath. It usually consists of a combination because Miss E prefers baths to showers. So, usually she will wait out by the shower while Mr E and I start with a shower, then join us at the end for a quick bath.
Mis pollitos mojados:
They are so cute! I had miraculously convinced Miss E to not wear her tutu and wear something different for just a little bit so I could take her picture. So a crazy 20 mins or so of picture taking ensued. LoL! And by the time we finished, she had forgotten all about her tutu. VICTORY!!!!
Here are a few gratuitous shots. I'm sorry- I can't help myself. They are my beautiful children!!! LOL!
11ish am is usually lunch time. Mr E was very upset for some reason while I was trying to put together their lunch. He wanted me to give him lunch de ipsofacto! (that very second) LoL.
Uuuup! Uuuuup!!
Here is their lunch for that morning. The chips were a new thing and Miss E would not even try them.
They also ate my apple, most of my cheese, and even tried the prosciutto. I ended up having leftovers after that :P
12-2pm There was lots of big block fun after lunch.
Then it was time for nap time/quiet time. (Mr E usually sleeps from 2ish to 4ish)
Daddy came home and soon after that, everyone was up and back to playing with the blocks for a little bit. Miss E had of course changed back into her princess dress by then :P So much for victory.
Can you tell what Miss E is doing??????
She wrote her name with the blocks!!! She has the orientation right and everything!!
Soon after that, though, Daddy went outside to work on a project. The kids wanted so bad to go too, and despite the allergies we've all have been having I acceded. I'm a softy. The kids played outside and Mr E sprayed himself with the hose. It was hilarious.
Daddy's big project was disassembling the play set to bring it indoors.
Miss E jumped up and down in joy when she realized what Q was doing. She is also yelling something to the effect of "Yes yes yes! Bring the playground inside!"
After a while, I decided it was time to come in and start dinner. I made something like this creamy chicken rice and bacon soup:
6pm: Dinner
7pm: Daddy had finished painstakingly disassembling the playset. We had had dinner.
In the interest of "keeping it real," I will say that we quite simply decided we deserved some Starbucks. So we put the kids in the car and off we went. I had my first pumpkin latte of the season :)! (this one is for the Bugs!)

When we came back right around 8pm, it was bed time. Assembling the playset would be left for after the kids were asleep. Quijote helped me put the kids to sleep, and then he worked until 11pm. I tried to help a little bit. After that Quijote got a VERY WELL DESERVED back rub while we watched Hercule Poroit on Netflix, and we went to bed ridculously late. We don't usually go to bed after midnight, and I would say that 11pm is actually the norm.
The kids have loved having the playset inside. They have been playing with it non stop :)
