More Valentines Day fun

Our Valentines Day sort of extended a little bit... hehe! We stretch these things out because ..well.. because they are fun!! Daddy made brownies and cut them into hearts for the kiddoes:

And we also made our favorite stew:

Miss E is putting on elaborate productions. Aside from costumes, music, and stories, she is now also expanding to lighting effects.

It's reminiscent of a Peter Pan play to me.

Here is a picture of her art, by the way! The glittery one was a super secret project directed by Daddy to surprise me for Valentine's Day.Mr E made one too. Daddy had them do it a few days in advance and of course Miss E told on Daddy the moment I came home that day so I got to open my gifts early! haha! But I didn't have a picture of it when I posted the other day so here it is <3
The family picture drawn with markers is a picture of Mommy, Daddy, Miss E and Mr E, and her primos and cousin A. Haha! I guess she decided the cousins were too much fun not to include.

And here is the "manatea" my tea infuser slash tea buddy. I think he is adorable. I want to get another one and make them kiss. jiji!

Then on Monday my awesome inlaws were in town on their way back home. Tuesday morning before my Bible Study we headed to the coffee shop in the square for some morning coffee. I took some super cute pictures. And the babies were just SO EXCITED to see their grandparents. Mr E was super sleepy at first though, so I got this melodramatic picture just about as soon as we got there:

The sun is so bright in the morning! She cracks me up!

Ordering some yummy treats

Mr E drinking chocolate milk

I had to crop one of them for a close up. I mean, eek! HOW CUTE IS HE???

A little Valentines Day Fun

It was a very nice Saturday for us :) I let Quijote sleep in (since usually it's me who sleeps in) and made breakfast (since usually it's him who makes it). I used wheat and white flour batters to "draw" my pancakes, in an attempt at replicating the stuff I've seen online.... obviously I need practice, but it was fun <3

Daddy had the kids make some glittery art for me as a gift, and also got me a very cute tea infuser that looks like a manatee. It's adorable! I got the kids some Valentines Day shirts to wear and we had fun that morning at home while cleaning up and waiting to meet our new babysitter (we had previously checked references, including her pastor and previous families she has worked with and just needed to meet her before her first babysitting time that night)

Miss E and her wardrobe fun

We got ready and went for our first date in a while :)!! I admit I expected to just get back to it as normal, but I was nervous the whole time, probably because Mr E has had trouble staying at the nursery at church. But the kids were VERY HAPPY with the new girl (a WT senior who is very well experienced and super nice to the kids). I heard all about it from Miss E later that night and we are very happy with our choice! yay!

dont judge.. no one takes my picture these days :P
And here's us! I didn't love the picture but it's the only one we took that night. We went out for dinner, then coffee and a little book browsing at Barnes and Noble. It was so nice to be out and about on our own! :3 We had fun <3

Other than that, we have been cooking and having fun at home (the kids are under quarantine again due to illness, but I think we will be okay to all be in public soon!). We've been watching a little too much tv but other than that we've been doing okay, and we do have the yard on those days when it warms up. hehe! Hope everyone is doing well and had a happy Valentines Day :)
