So we went to Paris...

...and had a wonderful time. Quijote had a conference in July... after much deliberation and in a fit of insanity, I decided to join him. It was wonderful. My parents were very sweet to take the little ones for a week so that Q and I could go on a mini-vacation/work week of sorts, and we had a wonderful time.

We rented a very small apartment near the Eiffel Tower and I bought some new outfits, and then we packed up and headed to Juarez to get the kids comfortable. My parents made sure they had lots to do- they took them swimming, to the children's museum, to the mall's arcade, the bowling alley, back to the mall for ice cream... if you can imagine a fun place for children in Juarez/El Paso, they took them there. For an entire week the abuelitos, tios, primos, and the little pollitos were out and about non-stop, and I know they had a blast.

Paris was beautiful as ever, and the weather was on our side!! Q and I tried to not over-plan it (and I tried to not underplan it haha!) and we walked a lot and saw a lot, and ate a lot of great food. And of course we took a lot of pictures ;)
