IM FINALLY DOING THIS!!

I know.. I'm so bad!! But it has been a whirlwind of a year. AND I had been so used to having so much time... I was unprepared for the busy-ness!!

Well.. before I start talking about the vacation, I wanted to show you our sensory path that we painted at the school in Anapra. Whenever we can, we try and get to Juarez early enough that we can do a little something, visit my Abuelita, see the family a bit, before the traveling starts and there's little time for much else! We were able to finish most of it, and the teachers helped SO MUCH!! It was so wonderful to get to work with them and so helpful to have their ideas... I hope it is getting tons of use! We also decorated the doors of the bathrooms.

And then we also got to hang out at the Anapra house with my parents and our friends who would accompany us on our vacation. I feel bad for them now, it was so crazy. I thought they were used to the crazy... but I wonder, now, if it wasn't still too much activity for them. They were troopers, though, and it was so great to have them along for the ride!! 

Then it was time to start on our way. We traveled directly to Quintana Roo on the way there! And then we immediately got on a ferry to Holbox. We spent a few days there, and it was wonderful. We stayed at a super cheap hotel that only had beds and bathrooms in their suites. No internet, AC, nothing. Just the beach -- we were right at the beach. And the restaurants, and the sun, our friends and family.

Y ahora, mas fotos

Y en Holbox tambien fue donde vimos la bioluminisencia. Tengo fotos de antes y despues pero pues no se puede tomar fotos de la increible experiencia. Es algo que yo quisiera que todo el mundo pudiera ver. Es magico!!

Y de pronto ya estabamos de regreso en la alberca del conominio que rentamos como "home base" en Playa del Carmen....
