Happy birthday honey!! Hope you had fun.
We definitely had fun preparing for it. Kids helped me make the traditional brownies, and were so good when we went shopping for a gift. We came home and had a little party with Daddy when he was home that weekend. In all honesty, it sort of turned into a party day mostly for the kids, who had one of their first truly warm weather days and played with sprinklers and drew with chalk on the sidewalk and played with their neighbor. At night time we had our very first game of Risk ever (as a family- Q has always liked it) and had a blast.
