I so excited!

My favorite picture from this post bc I want it to show up when I share it on fb =)

The Fall season has began, and we cannot be any happier about it. We have had serious allergies problems with Mr E, but I don't want to cry right now so I'll write about that later. We have been purposefully celebratory this month. There is much to celebrate and be grateful for!!

I started the season by being grateful for our home. Which means cleaning house of course, and moved furniture around -including the playset, which now is also a great play tent!

It was Miss E's idea to turn it into a tent. She loves the playset. They both play on it every day, but Miss E is especially fond of her swing. She does Circus Solei looking pirouettes on that thing! I'll catch it on video some day. In the meantime- here is my little girl enjoying the swing and looking adorable.

Then I cleaned the worst of all our drawers. This is what we inherited when we moved in:

I scraped, cleaned, and painted the drawer (hope I don't get in trouble for that!) and then I washed all our utensils and organized them (it was a hot mess in there!). And ta-daaa!

I also organized my closet and sold some baby stuff on craigslist and FB and finally ran out of steam. Did I mention I also moved the playroom into the living room and hung a mirror and blackboard on the side wall by the chandelier? We used to have the dining set there but we moved it a the corner of the kitchen, then this week we moved the table to behind the couch in the living room.

Space! We have lots more space now! I am loving it. When we are not using the table, we often fold the wings and it looks like just a normal, slim sofa table, and it's very pretty.

And as you may have noticed Miss E's birthday gift from Mama and Daddy has been here for a little bit! We started celebrating her early this month, starting with her play kitchen. I built it as soon as it got here a couple weeks ago. Usually it would have been Daddy, but he had an especially hard week with lots of long long days, and it was honestly a very easy build (Daddy just had to fix one door for me that I screwed on too low). We have all been playing with it. LoL!

There has been lots of playing, reading, dancing, eating...

Ricotta and pesto stuffed manicotti and topped with beef tomato sauce. I was very proud of myself.

Mermaid princess hot dog. haha!
Earlier this week during naptime one day I made Miss E a felt birthday cake. I did not spend a dime because I made it with scraps from other projects and the styrofoam packing from her play kitchen. And she LOVES it. All day that day. ALL day she played with it. And then she took it to bed with her that night. It makes me smile.

Mr E had a bite of cake too.

Quijote added ambiance to the birthday party.
And yesterday Mr E and I put balloons, treats, cupcakes, cookies, and Miss E's princess dress in the car and headed to Kids College to throw Miss E a birthday party. Daddy also met us there, and it was all kinds of fun.

"I so excited!!"

ugh it's the last time I cut his hair I promise.

She kept saying she was so excited all throughout her party and on the way home (she wanted to stay the rest of the day so we picked her up a couple hours after the party). She made one last request to go to MacDonalds that night and then we all went to sleep.

I gotta recreate that last picture in a better setting and with better light! I'm in love! My sweet little girl. Feliz No-Cumpleanos Bebe!!
