Little green men and other adventures.

E is absolutely too much fun. His birthday was pretty awesome too. Each year we make him a cake I learned to make especially for him. I only make it for his birthday. He also made a request to have a dinosaur hat made for him like last year, which melted my heart- he remembered last year!!! We asked him if he wanted a trip to the toy store or a birthday party and he said he wanted a shopping trip. So we threw him a small birthday bash at home, then headed to the fancy toy store in town, where he chose the biggest truck he could find. Happy birthday to my wonderful little boy.

Mr E still very much loves all things dinosaurs and all things trucks/cars. Enough said :)

Now on to the original post

We had an unusual busy morning today! Mr E was so focused and I felt up to the fun. It was great! We write his name a few times, did a bunch of workbook pages, drew pictures on the little whiteboard, and played with his "baby bear" - all before lunch time! We'd been playing with homemade playdough before I started getting hungry. I asked him what he wanted for lunch, and he said he would like spaghetti. I have him a dry spaghetti stick to add to his playtime while I cooked. He made a little green man!

Me: Aww E, he's SoOoOo cute!
E: That's because he's made of playdough and he's small.
Me: That's right. He's pretty awesome.

This is his sister and a flower.
