Another Fun Day!

We had a lot of fun at the park today!!! Kites are just so awesome.

Here are some videos of Miss E and Quijote flying kites. If you watch the videos with sound, you should know it wasn't nearly as windy as it seems- in fact I was worried that it wouldn't be windy enough! Miss E is REALLY good at this kite flying thing!! I couldn't keep my kite in the air for longer than 10 secs, but she was running around with that kite forever! Daddy can fly those things pretty high too! Apparently I'm the only person in the family who is talentless when it comes to kites. (Other than the baby) Womp womp!

And this is one of many attempts at sharing the kite with Mr E. It didn't end well, but at least the kites didn't get tangled up :P

I took a few pics, of course:

Our picnic area- and if you look hard enough you can see them flying kites in the back.

An attempt at helping Mr E fly a kite. I think he's just not old enough yet. But it was sweet of Daddy to keep trying. You never know!

Officially, this was Mr E's kite.

Miss E had so much fun! She spent a long time running around, flying her kite.

She was running straight at me, yelling "Look Mami! Take my picture!!"

Awwwweee!!

He was enjoying plucking lots of little yellow dandelions, despite the serious look on his face :P!

She was so happy!

the only way I could keep that kite in the air was to keep it on a short leash :P

I also got a little time to enjoy the peace and quiet. The song birds and the breeze made it so relaxing.

I don't know if you can tell from the picture, but there were several nests up high. Lots of different songs were coming from the trees. It was beautiful!

When we came home, Quijote made us a loaf of delicious bread. It was soft and with the butter and home made jam, I felt like we were eating french toast or something. He also made steak but I was too hungry to take pictures, I'm afraid!

We are sitting at home now, waiting for the thunderstorms to come. Hopefully it will rain and the grass we planted will get a little natural watering :P
