The last couple days have been very busy. They were great days in terms of getting things accomplished, and I managed to save some $$ in the process too!! Woohoo! I did laundry, got the luggage unpacked, got groceries (this one is usually Quijote's thing but we really had nothing left in the fridge when we got home and he was going to have a full week) and then I also got cheap, cheap Halloween costumes from Toys R Us!
I also got some shopping done for a party we are throwing for the soon to be Mr & Mrs (my only brother is getting married in late November!) and did a few things around the house that really needed to be done.
So today Mr E and I decided to stay home and take it slow. Miss E wants me to make a "pumpkin coach" for her (she's going to be CinderEva this year) so I was tempted to make a trip to the dollar store to get some spray paint and...
But no.
We needed a slow day. I had Q take the car instead of dropping him off so I could keep it.
So this morning we ate a HUGE breakfast of oatmeal (he ate 3 or 4 bowls!! how is he not fat??) a pomegranate, and what was probably a whole cup of pecans ...and we took it slow. We ate and watched TV for maybe two hours. It was so nice :) Mr E is so cute when he is eating.
Then we ate leftovers for lunch and played blocks, cars, trains, did a little coloring "Paint? Paint? Mommy, Paint?"...
I love our Mommy-Son days <3

One quick entry for my "Things My Children Say" label:
Last night we watched the short film series by Disney that Netflix just posted. Mr E loved "paperman," which is a sweet little love story. When the short ended, Mr E, who had been sitting on the couch being a daddy to my old rag doll, gave a huge sigh and said: "Awwwe. Niiiice." We have a romantic amongst us!
