Happy Birthday Gorgeous!!

Little Owl's birthday this year happened during the weekend- a 3 day affair, I would say, though we did not intend it that way.. hehe. On Saturday we had decided to stay instead of following the original plan of going to the pumpkin patch because it had been too cold that morning to take two sick kiddoes outside for a few hours, but later in the afternoon it warmed up. We went shopping (to prepare, we told ourselves) and we ended up doing some pre-birthday celebration. We went out to eat to a local soup and deli restaurant (can't remember the name! sorry!) and it was surprisingly delicious!!!
Happy birthday my gorgeous little owl!

Flat bread and chili!! SO not the mild flavors I was expecting. Spicy and savory! Colorful, fresh! Yummy.

We bought her very first Barbie ever, and this hilarious Jurassic Rubber Chicken...

It was the chicken dinosaur, not the ballerina Barbie doll, that ended up wearing the glittery outfit! Haha!!

That night we cleaned, amde cupcakes, and set up this little birthday tea party using a banner we've had since last year, the tea pot Q and I got as a wedding present, and LO's new side table. I thought it was all very cute. I also made some birthday crowns/party hats from my favorite girly paper stack.

When she woke up the next morning, the party started :)

Cupcake and tea party!

Baby E had his share of sugar too... no frosting for him yet though...
"How come I don't get frosting yet?"

While we were getting ready, she did a little coloring. This is a very cute shirt her uncle and aunt from WA sent her. I wanted her to wear it that day, but it got stained right away... so we had to wear something else.. :(

I took a picture of Baby E in his cute clothes before heading to the Pumpkin Patch. Good thing I did because he slept through most of it :P!
And here we are at the Pumpkin Patch!! Little Owl knew we were going to do this for her birthday, and we did a lot of reading (and even some movie watching!) about the Fall, the Pumpkin Patch tradition, etc.

The line to get in was loooong, but the place was so fun and so worth it. Snapped this picture of the birthday girl while we were waiting.

This is Mama being a wimp. LO was even offering to catch me.. hehe...

There was a huuuge pillow for the kids to jump on, and an awesome corn maze behind it.

The kids got to ride through the maze in this cute cow themed train. Or people could also walk the maze.

Byeeeee!
When Baby E woke up we went to the ducky derby! Videos bellow will show you what that is:

We had a great time at the pumpkin patch.

The following day was slow and restful, and her bed came! Which is really the only reason why I'm including any explanation about that day's happenings...

And that my friends is how we celebrated LO this year ^.^
