Again, before I go back to talking about Xcaret, which was our last vacation stop, I wanted to make some space to talk about being home in Juarez after the beach. We stayed back a few days to visit my Abuelita, celebrate my parent's wedding anniversary, and be with family. It's not as often as we'd like that we get to visit our family in Juarez, so we try and make the best of it. I'm also including some pics of the road trip back to Atown.
My abuelita's previously lush garden is now a mess! It's my next project!
Mi tia me ensen~o a hacer chiles rellenos...
While we were gone, the teachers of Anapra added to the caminito!
OK. Here we go. The last stop of the Quintana Roo vacation trip was also a blast. I think this was the kids' favorite part, in fact. They got to dive with the fishes, go on a jungle ropes adventure, swim an underground river, go to an apiary and see a quetzal and other birds unique to the region, see turtles the size of Mr E or even Miss E. GOSH. That place was so beautiful and there was SO much to it. It was amazing.
And of course, my favorite videos from the day:
