The First Girl Scout Meeting

She's officially a Daisy! Pictures are self explanatory, I'd say :D

Boo is One!

I figured better late than never. I've been meaning to repost this from FB:

Miss Es birthday

I cannot believe how grown up she is! She is without a doubt her own person; with her own opinions and her own sense of justice, beauty, fashion...
For her birthday she asked to have a Unicorn party. She wanted to invite both boys and girls, and have games (she came up with a few herself!) and so we did. It was fun getting ideas from pinterest and shopping together for party supplies. Since she had hurt her knee and was not able to jump in a bouncy castle for a while, we had to let go of that idea, but we still had a lot of fun with everything else.
And of course, it was pretty great to have both sets of grandparents for the party!! It was a very special weekend.

And now for the Sixth "Eva" Birthay Extravaganza photos. First from my camera.

The abuelos brought a gorgeous pinata and lots of candy. We almost didn't break that beautiful thing. But we did. LoL

So grateful for helpful and patient grandparents and abuelos! Thank you so much.

We actually pulled off the cake. Not that anyone ate it haha!

I dont love the picture but it's the only one we have of us

The kid's amazing babysitter came to the party too! They are so sweet together.

And now pictures from Daddy's phone:

And finally of the outing we took to the park so she could try out her new scooter (from the abuelitos). We got Mr E his own too, so they can now scoot around like scooter twins lol

She also loved loved loved the baby doll that my sil sent her! it was such a huge hit. and we have been reading all the unicorn books (gifts from daddy and babysitter) every night. We will in fact finish Phoebe and Her Unicorn tonight! I think it is hilarious but I dislike that the main character has such a negative opinion of school. It is a huge downer. Lots of great vocabulary, though, and the unicorn's sarcasm is only made better by the kid's witty responses (why can't I come up with quick, on the spot, crazy good replies like that!?!).

As usual, I am late in getting a birthday interview on camera, so I'll have to come back with that.
